SEC Coaches’ Preseason Team

Prior to the kick off of SEC Media Days, the coaches got together and voted on who they thought would be the top players in the league during the 2010 season. Of the 52 players that received the honor 3 are from Memphis, TN. Chris Walker of Tennessee, Chris Marve of Vanderbilt, and Barrett Jones of Alabama all played prep football in the Bluff City. Another local star to make the list would be Linebacker K.J. Wright of Mississippi State who hails from Olive Branch.

Of all the schools that compete in the SEC, Florida has the most representatives with 10 (1st and 2nd Team), Alabama has the most 1st Team representatives with 6, and Ole Miss (Mississippi) has the least total number of representatives with 1 (Jerrell Powe – 1st Team – DL)
