Ole Miss Head Coach Houston Nutt Visits The Chris Vernon Show

Ole Miss (University of Mississippi) Head Coach Houston Nutt made his first visit of the season to The Chris Vernon Show to talk about Ole Miss football, the acquisition of troubled transfer quarterback Jeremiah Masoli from the University of Oregon, and the release of some key players from the team. The Rebels who were originally predicted to finish 5th out of the 6 teams in the SEC West Division, are now being looked at as a wild card with no one knowing exactly what type of impact Masoli will have on the team.

Many media members have praised the “feel good” coach for being willing to bring in Masoli and giving him another chance, while others have criticised him for seemingly putting winning football games above character. Nutt seems to be unphased by it all and is looking forward to working with Masoli. Hopefully getting the opportunity to bring some changes to the young man’s life while winning some football games.
