Rich Eisen Joins The Dan Patrick Show To Talk An Extended Regular Season, The Lingering Revis Saga, and More

Rich Eisen of The NFL Network made his regular weekly appearance on The Dan Patrick Show a day early to talk about the continued holdout of New York Jets stud cornerback Darelle Revis, whether or not he thinks we are any closer to seeing a 18 game regular season after yesterdays Owners Meetings, and a couple more NFL news and notes.

Eisen brought up concerns on whether the Jets can just plug in another player to replace Revis should he continue to hold out. From the looks of The Jets pre-season games thus far their defense needs Revis badly for the Rex Ryan System to flourish and to have a chance at the Super Bowl as expected. In regards to the expanded regular season, Eisen thinks it might help get both sides to complete a new Collective Bargaining Agreement before the old expires at the end of the season. Audio of the interview can be heard below.
