Zach Randolph Named January 2011 Western Conference Player Of The Month

On Friday Memphis Grizzlies Forward Zach Randolph was named the Western Conference Player of the Month for his play between January 1 – January 31, 2011. During the first calendar month of the year Z-Bo was awarded the NBA’s Player of the Week Award twice along with the Eastern Conference Player of the Month LeBron James of the Miami Heat.

Randolph averaged 20.4 ppg and 14.2 rpg while leading the currently surging Grizz to 11 wins overall including three separate three game winning streaks in January.

Randolph who will be a Free Agent following the 2010 – 2011 season stopped by The Chris Vernon Show a couple weeks ago to talk Grizzlies basketball and the uncertainty of his future in Memphis (Click Here For Link To Audio)
